The Dalmatian Club of Finland

Dalmatiankoirat - Dalmatinerna ry. was founded in 1971. The purpose of the Club is to promote all types of hobbies with dalmatians, inform members on issues related to breed and hobbies as well as to improve the breed's quality.

Club publishes DAL-member magazine four times a year as well as ABC-DAL booklet (a guide for new puppy owners).

Clubs speciality show is arranged once a year. The location for the speciality show changes annually. In addition to the speciality show, during the same year club arranges an unofficial open show called Dalympialaiset and Youngsters Grand Prix show for dalmatians under 2 years old. Club aims to arrange an unofficial all breed puppy show every other year.  On top of that, active members arrange e.g. match shows on various locations.

Club aims to arrange diverse activities e.g. agility, shows, working dog and obedience excercises. Summer camp for dalmatians and their owners is also arranged annually.

Clubs breeding committee gives advice to members on breeding and aims to increase knowledge on breeding among members. Club also helps to find homes to members newborn puppies as well as to those who are looking for a new home.
